The experience of transitions as a feature of new career paths highlights the need for innovation in interventions. Among the new interventions, life design interventions with the aim of changing career narratives can be stated. the present study was conducted for 2 purposes. The first goal was to examine the impact of career narrative interventions based on my career story (MCS) and pictorial narratives (PN) on future career autobiography (FCA), and the second goal was to study how these interventions affect the successful transition through making a change in agency and reflexivity. The research method used in this study was qualitative and it was a case study. This study deeply examined the impact of interventions based on my career story and pictorial narratives on a case study that took place in 4 sessions. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews, observation, and document recording. The changes made in the future career autobiography were studied using the future career autobiography form (Rehfuss,2009) as a pre-post intervention comparison. Comparing the pre-post intervention in the case under study, reported that 2 kinds of changes have happened: thematic changes in the future career autobiography form in General Interests to More Specification and Disregard to Direction Theme. The results of the study show that the use of narrative interventions (MCS) and (PN) in the form of a single intervention is useful for the development of the studied futuristic career narratives. Also, making changes in agency and thinking has helped him with transition through college successfully.

The purpose of this study was to analyze how well - being of a developmental path was to choose the job of students. the research method has been qualitative, qualitative and the tool of data collection was deep. The research community was students, parents, teachers and experts in counseling and psychology. The sampling method was purposeful and so the sample consisted of 30 students, 20 teachers, 20 teachers and 15 of the teachers and 15 of the counseling and psychology students who took part in a semi - structured interview. The data from the interviews, with the context theory method, were analyzed in three open coding stages, including 100 main themes and codes, including 20 major categories, which include five main categories, which cover effective factors on the welfare of the career choice process. key categories were: sustainable individual factors; transient individual factors; family factors; social factors; social factors. the desire for the growth and development of the job path was recognized as the central core of the present study. the results of this study can be concluded that welfare counselling process selection process is required to consider the most important social welfare components of the job selection process and improve the welfare indices, welfare process and promotion of student job selection.

The importance of the structure of aptitude as a determining element in choosing life paths in general and educational and professional careers in particular has always been acknowledged by the researchers of the field. Amongst miscellaneous majors sub-classified under the educative and behavioral sciences, it seems that despite having a prominent and influential position in different areas especially educational and professional ones, and also enjoying a high level of scientific richness and meaningful content in terms of theorizing and producing new knowledge, Counseling has not explicitly addressed the subject matter of aptitude at sufficient length. The present qualitative research has made an attempt to delve into identification of aptitude by using two qualitative methods, i.e. synthetic analysis and theme analysis. To accomplish this goal, the technical texts in counselling were referred to so as to collect and record their views about the ways in which aptitude can be identified. The obtained data was then analyzed by seven-level Colaizzi’s method and drawing a network of themes was made possible. By drawing a network of themes, 29 counseling methods and techniques which could be used in aptitude identification precess were specified. The results of this research, which is regarded as basic research and a prerequisite, can be used effectively to take the next step towards devising a model and a domestic method for identification of aptitude in Iran. The aim of the present study, which is done qualitatively, is to develop a conceptual model of academic success for the first-year high school students. To do so, the data required were gathered through interview and reviewing the related literature. The research population consisted of the parents of successful students, the instructors and the specialists of psychology and counseling as well as the related literature. The sampling was purposeful so that unless new information is gained, the sampling may terminate. The sample included 40 successful students’ parents, 15 instructors and 15 specialists of psychology and counseling participating in a semi-structured interview. Additionally, the related literature consisted of books, theses, and the available published papers from 1990 to 2014. Data obtained from the interview and literature review were analyzed through the grounded theory and qualitative content analysis method, respectively, and the main categories of academic success were extracted. Then, the factors affecting the academic success were encoded into four main categories, each containing some subcategories. The main obtained categories are: 1. Consistent personal factors including subcategories of intelligence, personality and interest; 2. Inconsistent personal factors including academic self-concept, academic self-efficacy, academic engagement, academic procrastination, academic skills, achievement motivation, career adaptability, emotional intelligence; 3. Family factors including parenting style, paternal involvement, attachment and socioeconomic status; 4. Factors related to the academic atmosphere including students’ perception of school environment and society.

Aim: the present study was to comparing the effect of career counseling method based on social-cognitive theory, constructive, motivational on students’ career engagement.Methods: this research was quasi experimental study with the pre-test, post-test and follow up as well as control group. The study population consisted of undergraduate students of Alzahra University in 2015-2016 academic years. The stratified sampling method was used to identify and select appropriate sample. Among approximately 6,000 undergraduate students based on the Cochran sample size formula, 361 students were completed Career Engagement Questionnaire (Hirsch, Freund, & Herrmann, 2014). 60 students were selected and randomly assigned into the 3 experimental groups and 1 control (15 pre a group), and were assessed in pre-test, post-test and follow up by Career Engagement scale (CES, 2014).Results: the results of the within and between subjects from analysis of repeated measures and MANOVA revealed that training have a significant effect on enhancement of career engagement (P< 0.01). The post hoc test also revealed that total scores career engagement in post-test and follow up steps in control group were significantly lower than career counseling method based on social-cognitive theory, constructive, motivational.

Background: attachment styles are some sustainable patterns of connections which influence the persons' behaviors throughout the life, since childhood, and play important rule in individual growing and job creation. Purpose: the purpose of this paper is to study Prediction of job search efficacy and career decision-making self-efficacy based on attachment styles. Method: this research is descriptive type of correlation . Population of this study includes all studentsthat studying in Isfahan University ,during 92/93 academic year ,which selected by Simple Random Sampling method from a sample with 180 person. Data was collected from Attachment Styles ( Hazen& Shiver. 1987), job search efficacy (Salehi.2005) and career decision-making self-efficacy (Bets .1996) questionnaires and has been analyzed by SPSS. Findings: The research data determined that ambivalent and safe attachment style could predict 49 % of career decision-making self-efficacy and 37 % of job search efficacy. Results: we can deduce from current study that attachment styles has an important role in predicted of of job search efficacy and career decision-making self-efficacy career adaptability as well as explaining the career adaptability aspect, that should be attention.
